Say hi to Prince everyone!

I haven’t really been committing to my usual shopping routine. It’s been about 2 months and I haven’t really found any inspiration for fashion. Personally, I blame it on the gloomy, cold weather. I admit, We Californians normally are spoiled when it comes to weather and although it isn’t quite as cold here as it is in other places, I still feel vampire pale, out of shape, and a bit lazy during the colder season.

Recently, I’ve been focusing my time more on skincare rather than apparel. I admit I have some of the worst skin habits (my sister would gladly back me up on this!) Anything from not wearing sunscreen on a hot day to falling asleep with a full face of makeup on! (Hey don’t judge me! I’m only human!)
My skin tends to be more combination/oily but during colder weather, I tend to be more prone to dryer skin and chapped lips.

Everyone know that cleansing, toning, and moisturizing are the essentials. I also find that scrubbing your skin once a week (especially for heavy makeup users) will help your skin maintain a more radiant glow.

What my sister keeps reminding me is to invest in a Clarisonic. She claims it’s the best thing she has gotten for her skin. I have been a fan of St. Ives Apricot Scrub for about 7 years now and It’s been great at keeping my skin fresh and clean, but I am a little curious about the Clarisonic. Do any of you have it and if so, what are your thoughts?

Anyway, aside from that, I haven’t been doing too many exciting things. Here are some recent pics I took after going to lunch with some girlfriends.

My Samsung S2 Skyrocket

Being a text-maniac, I used to be be more fond of Blackberry phones with keyboards rather than touch screen phones. In 2011, I finally decided to give in and join the touch-screen crowd by buying a used Samsung Galaxy S. Turns out…I was missing out…BIG TIME!!!

I was obsessed ever since. Apps galore…the things you can do are endless. Finding places and directions are a breeze…reviewing a product before purchasing is right at your fingertips…keeping updated with the latest news and weather are simple with widgets. But technology is moving way too fast and it’s hard to stick with what you have when newer and nicer phones keep appearing.

Recently, I received a Samsung Skyrocket as a gift and really like it so far. I even bought a case for it. See below:

This is the Skyrocket. 4.5 inch screen and 8MP camera. Very sleek and thin.

I’m currently obsessed with mint green. I couldn’t find a Tiffany blue color so this seemed like the next best thing.

In the same Mint Green color, I wanted a cute wallet case to bring with me for quick errands. I love this case!

I am loving my new phone. Now I need to find matching cases for my Ipad Mini!

Taste of Hunni 2013 (I’m back!) & Fashion District shopping

1 whole entire year without blogging?!!
It’s hard to believe my last blog was in 2011 and there wasn’t single update from me for the entire 2012!

My excuse: I’ve been working 2 full time jobs and absolutely had no time to do anything fun for myself. But I decided recently that I deserve to live a normal life, and I finally resorted to working less. This will give me so much more extra time to blog!

Since my last update on my ombre hair, I recently colored my hair a light caramel brown…here’s a peek:

I want to gradually lighten it towards the summer and maybe do a subtle ombré. (Can’t escape the ombré!) But for now, I’m loving the brown.

I’ve been doing shopping in Downtown LA’s Fashion District. Walking through crazy crowded streets filled with shopaholics (like myself)…It’s honestly my favorite place to shop. Here are some goodies:

My Ombre Hair and Forever 21 spree

I was bored and this entire blog is just me being picture crazy. These are all taken with my phone (I’m still on the hunt for a good camera!)

P.S. A few items I got from Forever21…

(From top to bottom)
1. Forever 21 eyeshadow kit. I love this…it is actually really good for about $8. It’s a must-have, I had lost mine and bought another one the same day. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

2. Forever 21 glitter eye kit. This is bad! The glitter doesn’t stay and does nothing for your eyes. I recommend Victoria’s Secret glitter liner.
I give this 1 out of 5 stars.

3. Forever 21 eyelash curler. Honestly, it’s not as bad as you would think and it’s only $2. I normally prefer these kinds of curlers because I feel like they curl easier and they’re so compact and cute for your makeup bag.
4 out of 5 stars.

4. Forever 21 tweezer. Nope, not my thing. It hurts when I use this and it’s so stiff, it doesn’t bend well, making it hard to use.
1 out of 5 stars.

I recently have been so busy juggling a few things. I’m sorry that I’m always M.I.A.! I’ve been taking a look at different cameras and although I’m learning towards a Canon, I do want something with more features where I can edit the picture onto the actual camera. It’d be nice if it had HD video too.

Kinda hard to update without pictures. I’ll be back later!!!

New Fabulous Theme, New Makeup, but No Camera … :(

PART I: My new theme!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Seriously, I could not have asked for a better theme! She worked on it for a couple of months and it’s exactly everything I dreamed of!

So cute!

She is very patient and responsive. Plus, she’s just a genuinely nice person and her blog is super cute! *mad jealous* I wish I had the talent and skills she possesses!

PART II: New Makeup

So…I got my makeup stolen two weeks ago. It was bad because I had my favorite, everyday items in there and they were pricey brands like MAC, theBalm, TooFaced, and Victoria’s Secret.
The good part was that most of the makeup was old and worn out, so it was time to get new stuff anyway. I am just so thankful that I pack my brushes separately in its own bag because at $30-40 a brush, I’d much rather lose my makeup than my brushes!!!

So this gave me the opportunity to go out and buy new makeup! YAY!!!

I also grabbed a few things from Sephora and NYX but my camera broke right before and I wasn’t able to snap a shot. Here is a list of everything I bought that is in the picture:

PART III: I NEED A NEW CAMERA!

I’ve been getting so many emails and comments requesting that I put up more pictures. I honestly would love to but the problem is… I aint gotz no camera!

I went to Vegas for my birthday a few weeks ago and I dropped my camera and the lens broke off in pieces!! It’s beyond repair; I can’t even find the missing pieces!
I am on the hunt for a good, affordable camera. I don’t want to just settle for any cheap camera anymore, I want one with really good quality! There has to be one out there that shoots like a pro, but is around $200US!! Let me know if you guys find any good cameras please!!!
